1.    Apply for Admission- Online at www.msjc.edu click “Admissions.” Assistance is

       available on campus at our EAGLE ACCESS CENTER Room 1120B. (951) 487-3311.

 

2.       Get your Student ID Card from Enrollment Services. Purchase ASB sticker for $7.00. All student athletes are required to have an ASB card w/ sticker to be eligible to participate in intercollegiate athletics.

 

3.   Student Orientation:

        Online-please follow these steps:

Step 1- Go to www.msjc.edu click “Student Services”, “Counseling”   then “Orientation”

             Step 2- Review the material presented

             Step 3- Take the Quiz:  Click red icon in lower right-hand corner. A score of 9 out of 10 is  

                          required before you can register for classes.                                    

             Step 4- Registration Appointment-You may have to wait 2 working days OR                                          bring printed Quiz score to the Counseling Office to get a Registration Date and receive a FREE

     COLLEGE CATALOG.

 

4.   Take the Assessment Test- Bring a picture ID.  (IN PERSON ONLY)

        NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. Allow 2-3 hours to take test.

        Review, go to: http://testprepreview.com, click on Accuplacer practice; scroll down you will see a

        list of Self-Assessment Modules; click on a practice section. If you have already completed Math  

        and English at another college or have assessment scores from another college please bring them in  

        when you meet with Jenn Burleson, the Athletic Academic Counselor to clear your assessment hold.

  

5.     HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY- Must submit official High School Transcripts along with a High

        School Parent Agreement Form prior to start of the class. Students in grades 9^th and 10^th must submit  

        letters of recommendations from their high school teachers in the discipline that they wish to enter.

        Graduating seniors must submit a letter to enrollment services stating that upon completion of their in

        progress classes, the student will graduate on (expected graduation date.) Must submit this letter to

        get a summer registration date. If student is 18 years old they can show proof to enrollment services

        and get a registration date immediately.

 

5. Call the counseling office at (951) 487-3255 to schedule an appointment with Jenn Burleson,  

      Athletic Academic Counselor if you have any additional questions. You must tell the front desk you   

      are a student athlete to be able to schedule an appointment.

 

7.         Register for Classes- To register go online to www.msjc.edu then click  “my.msjc.edu” follow

        instructions on how to log in.  If you have problems registering go to our Eagle Access Center-Room          

       1120B to receive assistance.
